I'm relatively new to InfoPath, but there might be another way to do this that doesn't involve code. I haven't tried it myself, but in theory I think it should work.
) Add a numeric field to the data source on your form to hold your sequential number (call it formNumber for example).

The interesting thing is that length of my list = 1 but my list consist of for example 5 elements. I populate my list by manually enter values in Properties of my list. On the preview there are all elements but length still = 1. Why? :(

I've made a form with 1 drop-down list populated from Access database. Can I add or delete items using jscript?
I tried to delete an item with removeChild function, but it says that I cannot remove node of type ATTRIBUTE.

Of course I want loop through the chidren, but that's not the explanation.
I found that for...in works fine with objects made by script itself such as
obj={''a'' : ''Athens'' , ''b'' : ''Belgrade'', ''c'' : ''Cairo''}
but not with
XDocument, XDocument.DOM.firstChild, eventObj and so on.
It's a pity.
