When I attempt to sign a form in the browser (currently in test stage) I get this pop up message
You must install the Microsoft InfoPath Digital Signature Control to be able to digitally sign this form. Do you want to install the signing control?
I have googled this and found suggestions ranging from reg keys, activeX keys and pushing out ...

Perfect thanks. Problem was that I was setting the filename which included max(id) in the submit data connection.
So I made sure that the submit used the vouchernumber field to name the file and not try to recalculate the max(id) for each submit.
I now have 2 actions on form submit.
If vouchernumber is blank

I'm not sure how to if/else in the form submit or how to add multiple rules if possible.
I already have a textbox called voucher number which is populated when the file is first submitted so I could query that but how would I say
if vouchernumber is not blank
submit form

Hi,
Yes to a sharepoint library. The problem with this is that when the form is submitted I am getting max(id) from the list to name my file so if the submit the file is named (for example) OP12.xml.
If they make an amendment and submit again the file is saved as OP13.xml so we have 2 versions.
I've got around it by setting a flag to true ...

Problem: User submits a form. User then changes some data and presses submit again. 2 versions of the form are now in the library. Same problem if a user opens a previously submitted form, makes changes and resubmits.
Solution: I added a checkbox field and set its value to TRUE as a submit option. Under submit options I check to see if isSubmitted ...

ok mystery solved! The data connection that was getting max(id) wasn't getting the value when the form was loaded so my *guess* is that it didn't have a value to use when naming the form.
This is unfortunate as I was hoping to not get this value until submit as there could be a clash if 2 people create a new doc at similar times (much less ...

Not sure what my reasoning behind the 01 was, can just as easily be 1 - making the doc name OP1.xml
Will give that a go now.....
...
Same deal - renamed the existing doc to OP1.xml and the next file becomes OPNaN.xml
I just had a thought, given that I am retrieving the ID and not the filename of the doc, why am I messing with OP?
Rhetorical.
I ...

I have created an intial doc to ensure we have a max(ID), the doc currently in the library is OP01.xml
Letter O, letter P, zero, one

Thanks so how do I string (so to speak) that all together.
Say the last used doc name is OP01.xml, I need to save the next as OP02.xml
