  • Utilities Class Sharepoint Deployment

A lot of the InfoPaths being developed for hosting within Sharepoint (Browser Enabled) share common routines/methods. These were developmed in a seperate class and include the appropriate assembly settings (see example). In addition the class is signed. The class is referenced and its properties set as include locally. he class is ...

  • Re: Creating New Row Entries in Code

Should have said I'm using InfoPath 2007. Anyway after countless attempts today I've semi-worked out the issue. It comes down to how the underlying schema is defined. If for instance I have a 'header' and 'items', with a 1-to-many relationship, I would need intermediate XML Group setup as optional. Header 0 -n Items Instead have: Header 0-1 ...

The answer to your particular problem as it doesn't seem to be dealing with empty tables can be found at: http://blogs.msdn.com/infopath/archive/2006/12/15/another-way-of-sorting-repeating-data.aspx

  • Creating New Row Entries in Code

I have to admit I'm having a very difficult time with this managed code business. I have to say its very user-unfriendly and the samples and help available are limited to say the least. I want to programmatically enter new rows within ''an empty'' table. The table may only be visible within a restricted view. This is next to impossible as ...

  • Re: Managed Code XPathNavigator

From further investigation I found a solution. Simply check the node value before assignment as follows: // Insert Date DeleteNil(xnNewRow.SelectSingleNode(''my:Today'', this.NamespaceManager)); xnNewRow.SelectSingleNode(''my:Today'', this.NamespaceManager).SetValue(formatDate(DateTime.Now, ...

  • Re: SharePoint 2007 Work Flow and InfoPath

The answer is yes...doesn't make a difference which InfoPath your using as Sharepoint is more interested in the meta-data. You can change the values of the InfoPath form whether there promoted or not. Different method is required for either option. I should say this...you cannot reference and therefore change a promoted property or indeed a ...

  • Creating a new InfoPath form within Sharepoint

I've created a InfoPath Library within Sharepoint (MOSS 2007). I've created a workflow which executes whenever an InfoPath form is created/changed. The workflow essentially changes values within the InfoPath according to business rules. Is there a way of creating a new InfoPath Form, within code, and depositing that within Sharepoint Library. ...
