  • Search into a dropdown menu

Hi all! I've a big  dropdown menu (70 choices), I would like to know if there is a way to filter that dropdown menu by typing some text.  For example I start typing some text and the menu filter the options that contain that text.   Thanks :)

  • Re: Different values in SP list and infopath display form

Hilary, thanks a lot for your reply! :) That partially solved the issue, the problem is that I have a repeating section. Using your method, the default value is set only for the first item, but when I insert a new section the default value is not set.

  • Different values in SP list and infopath display form

Hi all, I'm having a strange issue with an InfoPath form and a Sharepoint 2013 list. When I enter data for the first time using InfoPath form online, values are correctly stored in the list , but when I open my item (or try edit it)  drop-down menus do not show the value that I can read from the list view, they show the default value ...

  • Re: Resource optimization - InfoPath and SP

After doing some research (and since I am not allowed to change the "Number of Actions per Postback" and "Maximum size of form session state" values), I think a solution might be to change my Sharepoint list data connection into a REST connection. So, I created a REST connection to the list ...

  • Resource optimization - InfoPath and SP

Hi all, I'm having some performance issues with a big InfoPath form with a repeating section and SharePoint 2013 online. My idea is that the problem might be that there are several drop-down fields which fetch data from other lists (with a data connection), data are also filtered by the choice made in previous fields. Sometimes I also get the ...

Thanks a lot Hilary, I think I found my mistake. I have to put the fields from the secondary connection in the display view (I was using fields from the main connection). The problem is  I cannot put "data and time" fields using the secondary connection and I have many of them :(

Thanks! I'll wait for your sample file. I'm not able to make it works if I try to query from the secondary connection... I'm doing something wrong for sure
