Sure, and if it turns out you actually only want to answer those questions 1x for the whole form, let me know, I have some tricks for that too (we can use some helper fields & populate your main data source repeating group fields on submit, for example)...
Hello Hilary :) I hope you ... I'm having some trouble accessing the file, so in the mean time I was wondering if you would be able to explain further on what you did? Maybe add some screenshots? Im terribly sorry for the hassles with this matter Posted to InfoPath 2010 (Forum) by Nate003 on 02-07-2017 Re: Inserting New Row on Repeating Table Ignores Rules? I appreciate that, once I get that answer confirmed and if that needs to happen, ill be in contact. I haven't seemed to receive the file yet through email. In the case that the network doesn't let the initial email through (can happen on occasion), would you be able to send through a second email, just in case? Thanks in advance, and ... I really appreciate your help with this issue :) I will try and have a look at the sample and see how it is. However I wont be able to download the copy you attached, due to restrictions on my works network. Is it possible to email it to the same address you messaged me on earlier? I apologise for the inconvenience. Did ... Posted to InfoPath 2010 (Forum) by Nate003 on 02-02-2017 Re: Inserting New Row on Repeating Table Ignores Rules? I have also tried using repeating sections, and I have the same issue. I may be way off on how im laying this out Posted to InfoPath 2010 (Forum) by Nate003 on 02-01-2017 Re: Inserting New Row on Repeating Table Ignores Rules? At this point in time, it is unclear if all of the answers will be required on all rows of the database. There is a possibility that some will be required over all rows, while others may not. I am aware that you can set a default value using the last() function to have a fields data be repeated on every row. But yes, my laying out is not ...
