Last » Re: Rich text field and sharepoint list So, I tried this and the text is displayed in the InfoPath form, but it's displayed with <DIV> tags. Anyway to get rid of those? Is there any other way to get multiple line columns from a Sharepoint list? Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by CycleFitness on 02-01-2007 Re: infopath input parameter Hello, Patrick: I'm working with an ASPX developer in my company who isn't familiar with working with InfoPath. Between the two of us (I have no development experience) we're trying to create a client front-end to a SQL database. The user will be doing some preliminary work on a Web page, then those values need to be passed to InfoPath to ... Posted to General (Forum) by CycleFitness on 01-17-2007 Re: InfoPath Training That would be great, although I think Patrick's model is more directed to one-on-one distance learning. Is that right, Patrick? Posted to General (Forum) by CycleFitness on 12-20-2006 InfoPath Training Can anyone recommend InfoPath Training on the east coast; preferably DC or VA area? I have mastered all the functionality of the interface, but, as evidenced by several postings on this forum, once you start talking about expressions and XML nodes, I'm in the dark. I'd like to gain full control over InfoPath. I'm not a developer, but understand ... Posted to General (Forum) by CycleFitness on 12-19-2006 Need Save Button Based on my understanding, if a user launches a form from an Sharepoint forms library and ''saves'' it, the save by default is to their local machine. I would like my form to have two buttons at the bottom: Submit and Save. Submit will submit to the forms library and Save will save it locally. How do I make the Save button do that? There is no ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by CycleFitness on 12-12-2006 Re: Text Box with Default Values They are questions the users must answer. The question text itself has to be a non-editable data value so it gets submitted with the form. The automatic sizing you're talking about has to do with form fill-out. I'm talking about form design. Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by CycleFitness on 12-12-2006 Text Box with Default Values I'm having a serious lapse in logic. I need to create a form that is a questionnaire. The question text itself needs to be saved as data elements in the form. The questions can be an entire paragraph. How do you do that? I created an XHTML field and set its default value to the question text, but that is very cumbersome from ''default value'' ... I'm not a programmer so can only guess that this routine would be associated with the OnLoad event? If so, what variable does the username end up in and how do I use it? Geez, I so need to know how all this works. I've hit the ceiling with my knowledge of InfoPath and need to go to the next level and understand ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by CycleFitness on 12-12-2006 Re: Submitting to InfoPath W/O Creating New form Neither of those help me. I'm sorry. I don't know how to construct this logic. The logic from Patrick's book is what I need, but I can't get that to work, so I just need a little help with that specific code. Posted to General (Forum) by CycleFitness on 11-19-2006 Submitting to InfoPath W/O Creating New form TO Patrick: In the ''Using Code to Control the Sharepoint Submit Data Connection'' section of your book you describe how to code a solution so that saving an existing form from a Sharepoint forms library will overwrite the existing one rather than creating a new one. I don't have Visual Studio, so am using the InfoPath editor. I have created ... Posted to General (Forum) by CycleFitness on 11-17-2006 Page 1 of 8 (80 items) 1 2 3 4 5 Next > ...
