  • Re: Problem with upgrading a form template

I found the problem.  For those of you who had or have a similar issue, my problem was that the SharePoint report server service was turned off.  We were having other issues as well, like not being able to deploy reports, etc.  Once this was corrected, I was able to update the InfoPath template.

  • "Form has been closed" error

Hi, I am getting a "form has been closed" error when trying to open an existing SharePoint/InfoPath form or open a new one.  I have looked at the logs and below is an excerpt of the error I am receiving: Could not load file or assembly 'file:///C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server ...

  • Re: Create a new field and associate with InfoPath template

Thanks, Hilary.  That worked!  Although I added another group and field to the InfoPath form and called it the same name as the form library field name except that there were no spaces; not sure how the form knows to save to this new field, but I believe that worked, too.

I apologize about the confusion :( On the InfoPath form, I see a field called, for example, "FieldA", but I don't see it in the promoted properties for the form; nor do I see it in the Sharepoint library settings.  Someone suggested it may be a calculated field, but I can see some items with the "FieldA" ...

  • Basic Infopath

Hello, I am a novice at InfoPath and I am trying to figure out how the Infopath fields are mapped to the corresponding form library fields in Sharepoint.  A 3rd party vendor developed the form and we cannot contact them.  There is one field on the InfoPath form that I cannot seem to locate on the library settings or on the backend ...
