I completely understand that moving fields between groups will lose data, and while we're in Dev I'm not worried about that of course. What's frustrating (about SharePoint/InfoPath) is that even if I delete nodes from a non-code template and publish normally I don't render previous forms ... I appologize for bringing this back to qDabra again when it doesn't actually seem to be the case, but in speaking with another team member here, we did another test with no qRules. We simply saved an empty On Load event in code so that the form contained a DLL and republished - and we're now able to break it consistently if we even ... Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by danmac33 on 07-25-2012 Re: Error: Schema validation found non-datatype errors - after injecting qRules Ok. I've done some more testing. I created a brand new form and set up a bunch of fields. I started simple just using text fields and published it to a new library in SharePoint. Then I added a new file to that Library with the recently published form template. Then I added date fields and attachment fields so that I was testing with complex ... I'm back at qRules again, but I do still think it's a loose connection. Now this is happening consistently in all of our forms. Here's what we're seeing: 1. We're continually adding fields to our forms and moving them around as we are in the development cycle here. 2. Each time we seem to modify the XML format - ... Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by danmac33 on 07-11-2012 Re: Error: Some rules were not applied. The parameter is incorrect Thanks. And yes, I did try re-injecting qRules As an update - I tried enabling "Automatically retrieve..." in my form and that seems to work. I'm sorry for the confusion, and thanks yet again for the help Dan Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by danmac33 on 07-11-2012 Re: Error: Some rules were not applied. The parameter is incorrect Thanks Ernesto, the error only shows up when I try to execute the SaveToSharePoint command (on change for the Attachment field). I've used this method successfully in other forms. I tried to attach my file using the Options tab, but my file is 139k and the upload is limited to 128k. If you can send me an email address I can send it to you ... Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by danmac33 on 07-11-2012 Error: Some rules were not applied. The parameter is incorrect Hi, We are working through a number of scenarios with qRules mostly using the SaveToSharePoint command. We have 12 forms that we're developing currently that all save their attachments back to SharePoint. I'm running into troubles with one of our forms where I can't add the simplest SaveToSharePoint commands without getting the ... I think you can get the ID back using the URL if you use FilterOwssvr or REST - are you using ShP & IP 2010? or 2007?
We're using 2010 for both. I'll investigate that as an option. Thanks Dan Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by danmac33 on 07-03-2012 Re: qRules - SaveToSharePoint - getting a reference to the uploaded file
Hi Dan, Thanks for the info. Sorry, there's nothing inherent in qRules to achieve this functionality. If the FileName is unique (I assume it must be) couldn't the form use that to query the library and find the newly created item?
That's the SharePoint conundrum. Oddly enough, you ...
