  • Re: Programmatically populating repeating tables with blank dates

just as a followup...  i've tried the deletenil approach to no avail. found this approach:  http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/eu/sharepointinfopath/thread/53803456-c1f0-4a7e-91d0-c44df2965877 which suggests to change the base data type to a string.  seems to work for what i'm trying to accomplish.

  • Programmatically populating repeating tables with blank dates

TIA for any and all consideration and positive comments. I'm trying to copy elements from a datasource into a repeating table.  I've found success all except for populating blank dates.  I've scoured the forum and found a few comments about the xsi:nil tag, but (from what I could decipher) those were geared towards ...

  • Re: showing excel charts in infopath

I know i'm REALLY late to the discussion, but I just started down the same road this morning. I went into controls, and at the very bottom, there's "Add or Remove Custom Controls".  Then, if I choose the ActiveX control, there are two options which may help: 1.  Microsoft Office Chart 11.0 2.  Microsoft ...

  • Re: Error Trapping

yeah, that's my thought as well.  just wondering if there is an easier way. i've decided its not worth it, but here's how i would go about doing it (for the sake of anyone reading up on this at a later date) .... in IP, have a datafield called "write" and promote it as a column in the doc library. then, in a ...

  • Re: Error Trapping

Thank you for your quick reply Qazi.  I very much appreciate it. Is there a way, then, to determine the user's rights to the file from within InfoPath?  Thus, if they have read-only access to the file, then I could set a custom submit button visible to false?

  • Error Trapping

Hello one and all, I'm curious to find anyone who has successfully implemented error trapping in IP2007.  The end user I'm working with is asking if we can better handle the "access denied" error.  Essentially, when an IP2007 form (from within a SharePoint doc library) doesn't have permissions for the user trying ...

  • Re: NaN error when adding up two double values

hmmmm....  i can't reproduce it either.  have you tried deleting the textboxes and starting over?  Try that, but start with only one rule.  If that works, then add the other.  Start small and build your way up. Sorry I don't have more for ya, but I can't get it to fail on my end.

  • Re: NaN error when adding up two double values

NaN is an error code returned by Javascript (hence why it only appears in a browser).  It stands for Not A Number.  I'd check the values of the numbers your adding up, and ensure that they have numbers in them (and are not null). if one of the variables is as you posted "12,50", then that's a problem because of ...
