  • Re: Populating form based off two SP List Fields

Whoo hoo!  I got the Site# to filter based on the Project ID!  For reference, they're called "Cascading Dropdowns". Thanks to Patrick's information I searched for "infopath current()" and found these two articles: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/infopath/archive/2004/09/13/228881.aspx ...

Filter your ShP list so you only pull down only the Project IDs that you want (pulling down everything could result in a delay when you open the form) Connect your Project ID dropdown to the secondary data source that is querying your ShP list and getting those filtered values. The Project ID field populates just fine and I have my project ...

  • Populating form based off two SP List Fields

I'm not entirely sure what I should be searching for, which is probably why this is becoming more and more frustrating!  What I want to do is have my form look at a SharePoint list and populate customer information fields (address, city, etc.) based on two pieces of criteria.  Since the list is so huge I want the user to narrow the ...

  • Re: Removing the Calendar Icon from the Date/Time picker box

I believe sanrajesh is asking if you can use the calendar date picker to select a time of day instead of dates.  To the best of my knowledge, you cannot. I solved my problem by using warrtalon's suggestion of just using a text box and formatting it for time (text box properties > Data type).  I then added a screen tip from the ...

  • Re: Reading InfoPath .xml

Thanks for the info Patrick!  Unfortunately part of the problem with the data in the view is that they're receiving it through Lotus Notes and it doesn't exactly make it through in one [legible] piece.  I think we're getting by for now, but the biggest problem is the Attachment control, how to "pull" those ...

  • Reading InfoPath .xml

Okay, I have NO idea exactly how to do this, but I can tell you what I want for the end result. I have about 8 forms up with SharePoint Enterprise 2007 in browser mode.  When a user submits their form, the form is sent as an email attachment as a .xml along with the template.xsd.  That's all and good, but here comes the ...

  • Removing the Calendar Icon from the Date/Time picker box

I have a browser compatible form with both a start date and start time box.  I'm using a date picker box set as time, but people keep putting in a date because of the calendar icon.  Is there a way to remove the calendar Icon from the date picker box for browser compatible forms? Otherwise I plan on just changing it to a drop down ...
