I have been writing software and designing systems since 1983 first as a network designer for a university, then as a database administrator for the Texas Health Department, then as a programmer for Dell Computers in Austin. Currently I am a consultant to the Hurricane Protection Office of the US Army Corps of Engineers, Mississippi Valley Division. I live in a suburb of New Orleans.
