i also facing this porblem.....that is i use datetime picker in Sharepoint, it work in IE but now show in Mozila(version 3.0). You wreite avobe solutions......please write me again this solution detais.....

The datapicker control only works in IE, In mozilla it will only check if the date is valid, but it will not show you the calendar.
