Hi folks, I have been reading through a lot of the questions in the forum, and have been quite happy about the vast amount of information. But there is a problem that I cannot find the answer to. I think it might be pretty trivial. I have a form where the user enters information that he/she collects after testing some parts that we manufacture. Each part has a specific part number and 6 points are collected per part (from different locations on the part itself). Since most of the part related information is the same, the user fills in a form like: User name: Date: Part number: XXXXX Quality data: Point 1: 10.11 (the number is just the result of the measurement test) Point 2: 11.00 Point 3: 12.12 ..... All this data goes to an access table. The PROBLEM: If I add a repeating section for all the data in the form, the username window appears 6 times; the part number window appears 6 times and the quality data window is 6 times. I dont want the user to even see the username, date window more than once. He.she should only see the quality data fields 6 times for entering the right data. Now if I use the Username, date, part number fields as non-repeating, then in the access table, only the first lines has the user name info. The other username spaces are blank. Like: Username Date Part Number Measure location Measurement XXX xx/xx/xxxx ABCD Point 1 10.11 Point 2 11.00 Point 3 12.12 What I want to have is Username Date Part Number Measure location Measurement XXX xx/xx/xxxx ABCD Point 1 10.11 XXX xx/xx/xxxx ABCD Point 2 11.00 XXX xx/xx/xxxx ABCD Point 3 12.12 Can somebody tell me what I am doing wrong, and how I can get a form where the user is not repeating information, while the access table appears in the correct form?
