You might be in one of those scenarios now, with both InfoPath 2013 and 2010 on the same machine. Uninstalling InfoPath 2013 for now might be the solution.

Hope this helps!

Running DBXL admin tool on 2010 (with 2013 installed)

Hi guys, I'm getting this error:

Form template: http://server/QdabraWebService/Forms/ID/184/template.xsn
InfoPath cannot open the selected form because of an error in the form's code.
One or more required components of InfoPath or the form template cannot run because of a security restriction.
Contact your system administrator or run Setup again to confirm that .NET Programmability Support is installed on your computer.
Request for the permission of type 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.InfoPath.SemiTrust.InfoPathPermission, Microsoft.Office.InfoPath.Permission, Version=15.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c' failed.

I have:

InfoPath 2010 (with .NET programmability)
InfoPath 2013 (no .NET programmability - it requires new VS.NET 2013 shell and all that... got too complicated for my poor little machine).

Is there a way to force the template.xsn to open in 2010 only? I don't think it's right that it picked up version 15. I'm trying to open it in 2010.
