So Qdabra, does support SQL Server 2008 R2? It is not listed under the supported platform on the site. I will be able to submit to both the SQL Database and Sharepoint document library, together?

Re: Infopath data to Sharepoint document library and SQL Database.

Hi Sejal,

Yes, DBXL will allow you to do this without having to write your own web service. Here is a video demo that shows submitting from InfoPath to SQL using DBXL. This video might also prove helpful.

You can download a free trial of DBXL and try it out before you decide whether it fits your needs, of course. Download your copy at qdabra.com. It comes with a sample form that will illustrate submitting into SQL.

You can let us know via this forum if you encounter any issues.

Thanks for your interest.

Infopath data to Sharepoint document library and SQL Database.

This is my requirement:

I am trying to develop a web enabled Infopath 2010 form, which the users will access from Sharepoint 2010. When the form data is filled out and submitted, the form should be submit to Form Library on the Sharepoint and to SQL Server 2008 R2 database as well for reporting purposes. The member can come back to the form, update it and submit it again from Sharepoint 2010. The changes should be automatically reflected in database.

I am new to Infopath, so please can anyone let me know what is the best way to achieve this? We are also considering buying Qdabra product. Any help will be appreciated. Will Qdabra support SQL Server 2008 R2?
