suppose for example i have a contactmgmt.xsn,for this i created DAT configuration and the saved it locally with name contactmgmt.xml(xml).

if i open xml in Editor it is having the structure

<my:ContactManagement>

<my:OwnerName></my:OwnerName>
<my:OwnerPhone></my:OwnerPhone>
<my:OwnerEmail></my:OwnerEmail>
<my:Contacts>
 <my:Contact>
 <my:Name></my:Name>
 <my:Phone></my:Phone>
 <my:Email></my:Email>
 </my:Contact>
</my:Contacts>
</my:ContactManagement>

then where i need to place these nodes in the xml

<datasource></datsource><nodes></nodes>

and after placing how i need to deploy these xml with mappings to DAT using Document depployer.

the document clearly explains the mappings but how to place these mappings in xml and how to deploy in DAT after doing mapping is not clear.

Im very newbie to both infopath and dbxl ,if possible please explain the steps in detail

Re: Working with large data base mappings

The XML to edit is the XML file you save from DAT in step 1 (the XML shown in the document is just a small snipppet of the whole document).

I don't understand what you mean by "w[h]at is the directory structure" in your second question.

Re: Working with large data base mappings

hi jimmy,
