But if I want to view in Sharepoint the forms I have submitted to SQL database using Qdabra, what is the solution for that? Any other solutions than submitting the XML files to Sharepoint also?

Hi Valtteri,

We have customers today with hundreds of thousands of forms stored in SQL via DBXL. Our forms hosting service, which we are launching this summer, will have millions of forms, all stored in SQL via DBXL.

Qdabra DBXL stores the original InfoPath XML in its own database. It is a one-way operation if you choose to shred the xml to a database. Shredding to a database and submitting to SharePoint are optional and can be made conditional (using xpath query syntax), so only XML that meets your requirements are written to those destinations.

Hi,

I am planning a large system and wondering the promise 'SQL Server integration scaling to millions of forms ' and I have question regarding it:

Is it so that in DBXL solution also, creation of a new form the system generates XML files into Sharepoint? How can it improve the scalability then? Which is the master location of the data in DBXL solutions -XML or SQL?

Regarding to this: What happens if I move XML:s to a different location? I guess the forms work normally as long as they have access to the form template (and to the SQL table), right?
