I installed it now from another computer with server 2003 and IIS 6. It seems the failure came from the IIS5.1 from my XP machine.

I got it installed now, but I have another failure : When the installation was finished, it tried to start the iis website that I created for qdabra :

http://localhost:28888/QdabraWebService/default.htm

But it gives me back a : HTTP 401.1 - You are not authorized to view this page

I already took a look at the NTFS permission. The user I am using definetly has NTFS permission to the website.

What am I doing wrong ?

Thanks in advance

Re: Installation Problem

Hi bjoernscher,

This is kind of weird. Could you provide a little more information?

What type of SQL Server are you using? 2000, 2005, Sql Express?

Does the NT Authority\Network Service system user account have db_owner access to the QdabraDBXL database? The installer should have done this itself, but there might have been a problem.

Can you give a screenshot of the error? The text is just the connection string to the database, and doesn't tell us a whole lot.

You don't happen to be running x64 version of WinXP, do you?

Thanks for the info, we look forward to resolving this issue ASAP!

Installation Problem

Hi I am having the following problem:

At the end of the installation process I am getting the following error:

Error publishing Admin tool : An unhandled exception was thrown: Data Source:(LOCAL);Initial Catalog=QadabraDBXL;Integrated Security=True

What is the problem ?
