I updated the XSN template to submit to DBXL instead of the SharePoint library and uploaded to DBXL through the DAT tool. Next I copied the XML files from the SharePoint Library and then uploaded via the DBXL Migration Tool. That was successful.

But this creates duplicate files with the DBXL DocID number as the filename in the SharePoint Library. How do I force the uploads to use the original file name?

Re: Sync old forms with new DBXL setup

Hello Tenbao,

I would not recommend deleting from your SharePoint Library. I would replace files after the upload to DBXL.

1. Export all docs using Document Deployer
2. Delete all XML infopath files from InfoPath Library
3. Create Document Type in DAT
4. Using Document Deployer, import all previously exported docs

Re: Sync old forms with new DBXL setup

Hi Tenbao,

As Bre has mentioned, you could use DBXL Document Deployer (also known as the Migration Tool).
Which version of SharePoint are you using? If you're in 2013 you can use the event receiver to sync your forms to DBXL. If you're in 2010, you could do a bulk upload/migration to dbxl and then reupload to SharePoint so that all your XML would hve the DBXL pi and DocID's.

Let me know and I can get more details.

Thanks!
Bre

Sync old forms with new DBXL setup

Where can I find instructions on how to sync current forms in an InfoPath library with DBXL to enable querying with the QueryDocumentsNodeSet method?
