this is an elementary question about how we can control the post appearance. no matter space or paragraph breaks we add t finally the post appear as one combined paragraph. I need to explain my questions in a certain flow by adding paragraph breaks and spaces but whatever I add will disappear when I post my post. Any help?

This should be very basic but how do I add screenshots to my post? The "Add Picture" button wants a URL with a bunch of other details. Am I to:

Upload pictures somewhere public before I create the post
Come back to InfopathDev to create my post
Add the picture(s) by providing individual URLs to it/them?

Seems weird... I must be missing something...

Forum access with IE 11

Any particular setting I have to use with IE 11 to post in the forums. With IE 11, I can type in the message block. I had to swap to Chrome to post this!

Infopath 2010 Browser Document mode

I have deployed infopath 2010 form to form library and opened form in IE10/11 browser, infopath form opens in document mode IE=8(chk with F12 developer tools) and due to this infopath form is generating some errors and not submitting correctly. Using IE10 "F12 developer tools" i changed infopath form document mode to IE=11 from IE=8 and it works without errors. I tried opening same form in IE9, it opens in document mode IE=8 and submits without any errors.This issue is common for all infopath forms developed in infopath2010/2013. I tried below 1. changing masterpage tag from "" to "" and also used on master, form server page still form in open in IE8 document mode only. 2. changing browser settings is not recommended as this cannot be done for all users. Please suggest solution so that infopath form always opens in latest document mode (latest browser version). i.e If infopath form opened in IE10, document mode should be IE10 only & if opened in IE11, document mode shud be IE11 only. currently document mode defaults to IE=8 for all browsers IE9/10/11.

Starter Form

I am trying to create a copy of Qdabra's Starter form with the help section. If I create a picture button, I can put a picture on it that looks like the Show Help button in the Starter form but it doesn't have a spot to make the label say, concat(substring(translate(ToggleHelp, "truefalse", "HideShow"), 1, 4), " Help"). If I change it to a regular button it is a grey button like the Save and Submit buttons that are on the form. I am apparently doing something wrong. Please help.

Clearing a future date

Hi, I would like to setup a rule such that a date > today's date is automatically cleared. I've setup the following rule, but it doesn't work: Clear date field value 2 (date > "today"). It is "value 2" because there are other rules also applied to this particular date. Any suggestions?

Clear manual entries from a view before submitting.

I have a infopath form that submits to a sharepoint library. It has 5 different views. One of the views (let’s say View 5), pulls information from 3 other views and, many fields for the user to fill in manually, kind of like a report. I want this view to be a “Print Only” view and not saved when the user submits the form. I know how to create a button for printing. But need to figure a way that when they switch views back to one of the other 4 views to submit, view 5 clear changes (at least the fields that were manually entered). I know I can create rules to set each entry value to blank when the “switch View” button is clicked but I have 15 fields that need to be cleared. Any better way?

Radio Buttons

Currently building a infopath sheet and I am having trouble with rules.....

I am using radio buttons 7 of them and I would like a message/screen tip to appear when 2 of them are selected as a possible option. At present it keeps coming up when any of them are selected even though I have placed a rule to state the two I am interested in.

I then also need to have each of the 7 radio buttons go to 7 different pages how can I do this? As it keeps going to the first rule.

Help!!!

Switching views not working on IE

I have a form with five views and It works with no problems on Firefox. However, when I try to switch from one view to another It doesn't work on Internet Explorer.

I get the following error:

An error occurred submitting this form to the Web server.

The form will now be closed. Click Start Over to load a new copy of the form.

If this error persists, contact the support team for the Web site. Click Close to exit this message.

The start over button also doesn't work.

Did anybody run into the same problem ?

having included template and embedded a dozen of linked to imgur.com screenshots.

It has gone to moderation while I did not have opportunity to save/backup the text with all links to imgur images generated.

Now I am worried:

have it been lost?
how much time to await its approval in order to get access to my contribution for its completing (final editing)?
Can a user be given a warning to backup/save its text before it's disappearing for moderation?

Any way how to search forum threads with attachments?

Unable to retrieve password recovery

I enter in the email address and it says it is going to send me the new password, yet nothing is ever received. I had to create a new account but I would like to be able to access my old account. Is there an admin I can email about this?

Also, how do you download attachements, someone created an example for me to look at yet it denies me download.

Can't add posts to favorites (instead repeatedly getting forum lists added to)

I'd like to favorite some posts.

And for some posts it works but for the most posts I am getting on attempt to favorite them (Clicking "Favorites" button):

Add this forum to favorites
Remove this forum from favorites

and only the forum, and if in the same then repeatedly, being added to my Favorites under Favorote Sections

You can check that my profile (under Favorites tab ) has there:

though I have never favorited forums but only posts, meaning that my dozens attempts to favorite posts convertid themselves into just 3 forum favorites

Can you look into it since for some posts (in some forums, couldn't figure out it) it works correctly
