So I am tasked with initiating a workflow from a SharePoint list, which then creates a InfoPath form in a forms library (and I update data from the original list into promoted fields in the forms list). This part works fine BUT the huge problem is that the workflow (built in SharePoint Designer) only creates an XSN file and not the XML file containing the data. Is the only way to make this happen through some additional code?
