I needed to follow some steps exactly when creating my formula. I was successful when adding all the text and fields at creation time. Previously I added the FirstName and LastName fields and then would edit the formula adding 'concat', and all the parentheses, commas, etc. This never worked for me. Adding all the commands and fields at the same time worked.

Re: Having Trouble Getting FirstName and LastName in a text field

Hello Patrick,

Thanks for the note back on my post. I have been using GetUserProfileByName in my form. My issue seems to be with getting the formula right. In Clayton's blog, figure 15, I've been using that formula but it's giving me errors when I check the formula. I'm sure it's something I'm typing or not typing. Let me bang away at it some more.

Re: Having Trouble Getting FirstName and LastName in a text field

Hi Sandy,
