Because I'm only a Site Collection Admin I don't have the ability to go into the farm and make the necessary permissions changes to allow access to the GetUserProfileByName web service. The back end modifications for this can be done, I just can't do them.

Pre-populating a person picker with current user in a web form

I have a web based form that *should* pre populate a people picker with the author name when the form is initially opened. Works great in the filler and in preview. Wondering if there are any commonly known issues with the person/group picker and populating it in a web form.

It works by doing the following:

-Data connection for GetUserProfileByName
-Person / Group filler to be pre-populated has the following fields set on document load:
--AccountID = Account Name (GetUserProfileByName 'Value' field filtered with Name = "AccountName" string)
--DisplayName = Full user name (GetUserProfileByName 'Value' field filtered with Name = "PreferredName" string)
--AccountType = "User" (No need to generate this as all accounts will be user accounts in this instance)

When I run the design checker on the form I get the following error: "Data Connection contains parameterized query".

When I publish the form and then open it in the browser I receive the following error after the form loads: "An error occurred while trying to connect to a Web service. An entry has been added to the Windows event log of the server. Log ID:5566 An error occurred querying a data source."

Unfortunately I don't have access to the server, I'm a mere site collection administrator.
