Probably has to do with the sample data you gave it when you set up the receive data connection. InfoPath builds return schema based on what the web service query returns and if it doesn't return anything, well, InfoPath doesn't dispay anything. Try to create a new data connection and specify values for the parameters in the sample data dialog that will return data. If it still doesn't work, try with different data until it does.

unable to recive data through Webservice

I have been trying to get this issue resolved. I researched alot and was unsuccessful.

So, I have designed an IP 2003 form with Access DB (Main data connetion - recieve an submit). I am now trying to add a web service as a second data source (to receive data) which has Customer id (query field) and Customer name, address (data fields) - this will basically enter customer name and customer address depending on which customer id was inserted by a user. When i try to add this web service in the form as a second data source, the fields (customer name and address) does not get populated. However, when i have web service as the main data source, it works like a charm.

Can anyone tell me why web service is unbale to recive data when you have it as a second data source and works with no issue if you have it as the ONLY and Main data source?
