The fact is that the web service does not define any rules opens the form, for example, specifying an initial value to a field.

I also found it incompatible with any default of a field that requires the calculation of a function, as well as the method:
EventManager.FormEvents.Loading + = new LoadingEventHandler (FormEvents_Loading);
within the source code.

The error I find is that the web browser to query the web service will reset the values of all fields and from there to change any skips a runtime error, the type null is null or not a object

Thanks.

Re: Error web service + rules opens the form in infopath 2007

Hi -- what open rules have you set? I need to call a web service, which will be consulted when a button submit
is pressed. Anyway, I set some rules opens the form so that when you publish
to my server and be accessed with a web browser I get a null error. Does
turning off all rules of opens the form if it goes well. How do I fix this?
Are incompatible the two options?

Thanks.
