If the user's machine is joined to the domain and IIS is configured correctly on the server where the Web Service is running, and that server is part of the domain, you should not have any problems. You should make sure that the user's machine is joined to the domain. If not, the user can still connect to the Web Service, but they'll have to VPN in to the domain using their domain credentials. Once they are joined or VPN'ed in, the Web Service should see their domain credentials. If not, check your IIS settings using IIS Manager. It's possible you are not configured correctly.

Let us know if you are still seeing an issue. We use Web services a lot here with no problems. We also have a Web Service that doesn't require Windows Integrated Authentication - useful for accessing a Web Service from across the Internet when you don't have a Windows machine or aren't part of the domain....

Re: HELP!
So then the "server" you were referencing was the server hosting the web service itself, which is why it worked. I have only built web services and InfoPath forms that worked together via SharePoint, which actually is much tougher, but I'm not sure how you configure the passing of credentials within InfoPath itself.

Re: HELP!
From all of the research I have been doing, the client application is responsible for passing credentials to the web service. I am building a windows form application to confirm this, but that means that InfoPath will have to supply the credentials.

If that is the case, then I have no clue how to tell infopath to pass them to the web service when accessing it.

Re: HELP!
It's not uncommon for there to be double-hop issues with web services in InfoPath forms going through SharePoint. You typically have to make your data connection into a UDCX file (data connection library), and then you typically have to create an SSO application definition to define how the credentials are passed.

HELP!
