Web Service Field Declerations

I am trying to write some Jscript to set a fields value = to the value of a web service field. I have been unable to figure out how to declare the web service fields as variables. Here is what I have tried.

var qPayrollCC = XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode("dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/s0:GetNameByGIDResponse/s0:GetNameByGIDResult/ns1:SqlRowSet1/ns1:row1/ns1:accountingCode");

var qPayrollCC = XDocument.GetDOM("dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/s0:GetNameByGIDResponse/s0:GetNameByGIDResult/ns1:SqlRowSet1/ns1:row1/ns1:accountingCode");

var qPayrollCC = xdXDocument:GetDOM("GetNameByGID")("dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/s0:GetNameByGIDResponse/s0:GetNameByGIDResult/ns1:SqlRowSet1/ns1:row1/ns1:accountingCode");

var qPayrollCC = XDocument:GetDOM("GetNameByGID");xmlDoc.setProperty("SelectionNamespaces", 'xmlns:ns1="dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/s0:GetNameByGIDResponse/s0:GetNameByGIDResult/ns1:SqlRowSet1/ns1:row1/ns1:accountingCode"');

Nothing seems to work. Can anyone shed some light on this. I haven't found anything online about this.
