There is actually an error in the following example:http://blogs.msdn.com/philoj/archive/2005/11/08/490200.aspx. Step 22) is wrong! It may help to be aware of that, as the above post has been referenced in many blogs.

Cheers!

Haydn49

Re: Problem using Web Service as a Data Connection

Hi Haydn49 andwelcome to our forum!
Without trying the example you mention I have no idea what the problem could be. Can you provide more details? For example, what's the error message?

Problem using Web Service as a Data Connection

Hi,
I have designed an infoPath template and hooked it to a custom web service, as suggested in this examplehttp://blogs.msdn.com/philoj/archive/2005/11/08/490200.aspx. When submitting the form, the SOAP request “hits” the web service. However, the c# object transmitting to the web service remains null! I use a TCP/IP tool to monitor the SOAP request and run my web service in debug. But, I can#%92t still figure out what is going wrong!
Could someone help?

Cheers,

Haydn49
