It's strange that is how I started this whole process. I first tried with arrays of Strings and used the 'send this pass String' option in Infopath. I also tried passing into an array of XmlElements and not as Strings. In both cases I would only recieve the first value. This has been a pretty frustrating experience. If you have any more suggestions or examples please let me know.

Thanks

Re: Webservice passing value

Try out by changing your webservice to accept input parameter as an array and you can pass multiple query values as input.

Re: Webservice passing value

Thank you very much for your reply. Unfortunately that article does not help in this situation. In that article is appeared that the person was having trouble sending anything to a WS.

I can send individual fields to a webservice without a problem. My issue is that if I have a dataField that contains multiple values how can I send all those values to the WS not just the first one in the set.

Thank you.

Re: Webservice passing value

Hi,

Check out this link,<br /http://infopathdev.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=380

I hope this will help for you,
Thanks.

Webservice passing value

ok, I will scale down my last question to a more specific question in hopes of a response .. because I am lost :)

-I am passing my webservice a value from a 2nd datasource containing database tables.
-Let's say I am passing the web service just ONE field '@testfield'.
-In the database this field contains only 3 rows with values 1,2,3
-When I pass @testfield to the webservice in EVERY possible way it will only pass the first value from @testfield .. which is 1

How can I pass the 2 or the 3 or '1,2,3' to the webservice???

Thank you 1000 times to anyone who can help me with this!!

-BonsaiGuy
