MyUserInfo is a method that can be used to get info for the current logged in user. GetUserInfo can be used to do so for a separate user. You will have to call GetUserInfo with the username of the user for which you desire the information. See the forum post below for more details on how to do this:<br /http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=683&SearchTerms=GetUserInfo

Patrick Halstead [InfoPath MVP]
InfoPathDev

Re: AD webservice doesn't work

Hi Patrick

In addition to my previous post, I wanted to add this.
Teacher logs in ,kids go and access the sharepoint portal (typing url in the browser) from a teacher workstation and I want the login details of the kids to be populated from the AD in the form instead of teachers.
Kindly advice

Thanks
Devi

Re: AD webservice doesn't work

Hi Patrick

Thanks for checking with me, I tested it today and the server error is resolved. I installed ADService on one of our test servers but I am publishing the infopath to the sharepoint portal which is on a different box.
