I have successfully added a Web Reference to the C# project but upon generation of the solution, I get that error (this is a translation, the English terms may not be exact) :

"Error in the custom tool : Impossible to import WebService/Schema. Impossible to import binding 'cmsserverbinding' (it's the name of the binding in my WSDL file) from namesapce 'urn:cms. Impossible to import operation 'GetRubriques'. The schema with targetNamespace='urn:cms' has an invalid syntax. The attribute 'name' may not be present."

I'll re-check the WSDL file to see if there's an error in it.

Can you try to access the Web service using a simple C# application using a web reference and see if that works.

Hi,

I'm trying to configure an InfoPath form so that it can receive data from a web service.

The web service is in doc/lit mode and returns this response (Groupes is basically a SOAP-ENC:Array) :

The SOAP response seems perfectly well-formed.

In InfoPath, when I try to add a data connection to the Web Service, I get a list of the operations available from this web service, but when I click on one of the operations and then "Next>", I have an error message : "InfoPath has detected an error. The operation has failed. Unspecified error".

So I can't reach the step where you can bind the results of the web service operation to the elements of your InfoPath form.

I'd be glad to have your comments about this, since the error message is not explicit at all and won't get me far.
I'm running InfoPath 11.6 SP1 on Windows XP.
