Since you told me I shouldn't have any problems with client-side form, I just suspected a piece of wrong formula somewhere and blindly re-did the whole form (from a latest saved template). This time it sees like I succesfully avoided an error and everything works.

Thank you, Jimmy and Patrick!

Re: "A call to XDocument.GetDOM failed. Did you have a data source called 'xxx' that you removed? I would suggest checking the Rule Inspector for errors, and if that doesn't work, exporting the form's source files and searching for the name of that data source to see if you can find something that points you in the right direction.

Re: "A call to XDocument.GetDOM failed. You'll need to use a Web service such as Qdabra's DBXL Web service.

For filler forms, it should work so long as the user has connection to the databse.

Please clarify whether you are using browser or filler.

It works fine in a preview, but gives the "A call to XDocument.GetDOM failed..." error on the server.
The connection has been converted to the file and includes login credentials. The SQL database is NOT on a SharePoint server. Please, advise.

Thank you!
