I have a single database table with repeating data that I want to use as a datasource for my infopath form. For example:

MsgCat

MsgNbr

MsgText

I want the user to select a MsgCat and MsgNumber from drop down lists, then display the text that's associated with it. Problem is, MsgCat and MsgNbr are both repeating fields in the table.

Do I need to create a datasource that is a select distinct query for each dropdown, then filter based on the concatenated result? Or is there a better way?

Thanks!
