I am new to InfoPath and I am looking for help. I have done a lot of research but have not found an answer yet. I am a DBA supporting an application with a SQL 2000 backend. I have access to SharePoint but no web server.

My problem is thus; I have an existing database with defined stored procedures. I would like to create a new data entry form using InfoPath and uses my existing insert stored procedure, passing it the required parameters. I have successfully completed the Microsoft example (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/827007) but when I try to use the same process on my database it does not work. I do not receive any error message. The table has not been updated but my primary key has been incremented (tested by using the stored procedure from Query Analyzer). Using a connection to a table does not work as the stored procedure performs an insert on two tables.

I appreciate any help you can provide.

Thanks,

Jason
