I have 2 tables CUSTOMER and REQUESTS table. Both tables has "ID" as a primary/unique key. And i have joined both these tables by "customerid". When i use access as a back end DB, i have no problem submitting with the same primary key and relationship. However, I now require to change the DB to SQL and it does not allow me to submit anymore. I checked the Data connection wizard and right at the end, it says "Submit option: Disabled. A many to one relationship might exist in the data source."

What am i missing??? please help!!!

Re: How to submit to multiple database tables with one-to-many relationships?

this has been fixed. I noticed that the dba added an additional primary key to the main table so there was indeed a many-to-one relationship. I got this key removed and it will now submit. thanks for your help.

Re: How to submit to multiple database tables with one-to-many relationships?

But your main table is your 'one' table, right? and then you added another table, and created a relationship? There are a few tables I would like the data submitted to, but it appears as though the submit option is disabled because there is a one-to-many relationship between some of the tables. Is there a way around this? The one-to-many relationship is being used because repeating tables are used in the form. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
