As you have found, the default database functionality is limited. You can only submit a database type form to one table.

With webservices and SQL express you get much greater flexibility.

You could possibly use code to do this second submit.

I would suggest you use Access.

If you have the data in tables already I would run a process to move the data to another set of tables once it is through the process.

This is probably the easiest. I would recommend moving from Access to SQL express for performance and then you can have stored procedures executed by an Agent.

Using Two Access Databases

Hello,

I have four forms that interact with one another, sometimes. The form requires approvals from different departments. Also, on the form is information on parts and part numbers and more trivial stuff. There is a database with usernames, emails, departments in which the users belong to and so on and so forth. This database is used to receive data in the four forms I made from scratch based on a blank document. Now what I want to do is once the form has reached it's final destination I want to enable a second submit button to send all the data from the form (except for digital signatures and sensitive stuff like that) to a new database, that way at the end of a revision of a part or a new part, instead of typing everything by hand, the submit button will dump all of this information into an ACCESS database. Oh, did I mention I'm using access. Is this possible, I'm having one heck of a time with this.

Thank you,
