InfoPath only supports Microsoft SQL or Access for its native "Database" connection. Unfortunately it does not use ODBC. However with Web Services anything is possible. I am not familiar however with what it would take to add webservices to MySQL.

Thanks
Clay

MySQL connection via MyODBC

Hi,

I'd like to connect an InfoPath form to a MySQL database.

So, I've installed a MyODBC driver. But I can't correctly create the connection. The message is "Test connection failed because of an error in initializing provider. Catastrophic failure."

I've learned that there were some bugs with MyODBC drivers.

Does someone already made a connection to MySQL via MyODBC ?

Thanks.
