I think we are on the same page :) That way I would push the test data into Production, which I don't want. Copying the live data into my Quality list and moving that after changes to Production would work - but only if the implementation takes less than 15 minutes, which is also not feasible therefor I would loose data of the user input done during the implementation.

thanks for getting back to me. I am aware that I can create templates and then create a new list based on that. However, that means that you always get a blank list without data. Not ideal.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

I have several Sharepoint lists with InfoPath forms. Since the changes that have to be made are a little more complex (and take a lot of testing) I create a copy of the list and work on that (you could call it a Quality Environment). Once I found the necessary changes (I make notes to remember them), I execute these steps in the "real" / live / original list (you could call it the Production Environment).

I am wondering if anyone has a simplier solution for this? Is there something in Sharepoint / InfoPath that allows you to move changes from "Quality" to "Production"? Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
