Are you using SharePoint 2010 or greater? If so, you could use a REST data connection and create a more complex query string.

Infopath QueryFields and Sharepoint

Hi all,

I'm working on différents InfoPath & SharePoint projects and I have a question about one request I have...

We are using an InfoPath form with a request system to populate a section with informations from a SharePoint list. From now, we use only checkboxes to do the search. But they want to use a plain text search, in the SharePoint list title field.

for example, if i have in my list "a lot of cats" and if they search "cat", they want the request return all items with "cat" in.

Have you any idea?

thanks in advance!
