In some cases the crawl even appears to stop in the middle of a text field.</p><p>When I examine the XML in a text editor there is no apparent reason for the indexing failure - i.e. no symbols or codes that could be interpreted as an end of file.&nbsp; </p><p>Our SharePoint team claims that the issue is related to the XML file since they are not having any other reported issues with the search of the SharePoint site.&nbsp; </p><p>Indexing/Crawl for SharePoint Search Service:</p><ul><li>Using default iFilter for XML</li><li>No timeout set</li><li>Fast search is not enabled</li><li>No errors reported when crawling XML files.</li></ul><p>Note: I have researched the issue on SharePoint support sites without any success.</p><p>Anyone else experiencing this issue?&nbsp; Suggestions for resolution?&nbsp; </p>
