The main error I described above was because I was previously using the centrally managed udcx file. All I did was convert this form to use a similar file and everything went smoothly - WHEN I RAN IT ON THE RIGHT DOMAIN. Running the form on the same web application using it's local AAM did nothing for me, throwing the same error, so I switched to the public domain AAM and it worked fine.

Submitting is another story, however. I'm attempting to submit the form to a library on a SharePoint 2010 farm, using the runwithelevatedpriveleges method for the submit event. This didn't work, throwing the following error:

"Cannot find site lookup info for request Uri "

I'm guessing this just isn't going to work, but I wanted to know if anybody has advice on this part of the issue, in case there is a way to make it work.

InfoPath and SharePoint 2013 - Browser form giving permission error

Hello,

I have a form that I upgraded from InfoPath and SharePoint 2010 to 2013. The form submits to a SharePoint Library on an SP 2010 server, and gets information from a List on an SP 2013 site (not sure if that's doable in the first place but it's development so we'll find out, maybe!). The form was working as a browser form in the 2010 version, but the new version gives me an error when I try to open it on the site (note: no errors are presented in preview mode in InfoPath, or when publishing, or when uploading to CA for the SP2013 site).

Error Text:

An error occurred querying a data source.
Click OK to resume filling out the form. You may want to check your form data for errors.

You do not have permissions to access a SharePoint list that contains data required for this form to function correctly.

An entry has been added to the Windows event log of the server.

I'm logged in as the site collection administrator so this error makes little sense. The data connection for the list does not have any user/password information collected afaik. Previously, there was a data connection that was stored as a UDP file and I'm wondering if this needs to be the case here. I noticed another problem, though, before I started having this one, where the previous SP 2010 location was trying to be accessed by the form during publishing (and failing) and even though that issue seems to have gone away I noticed the manifest file still has references to the old site. So I think there's a connection.

Sorry if this sounds disjointed - I reviewed the issue while making this post and learned a couple details.

Edit - didn't realize at first the formatting in the compose tab didn't stick to the final message
