I am going to look into the form that submits to two libraries and try and figure that out.

Any ideas on how to get the existing data from the "un-promoted" columns that have already been submitted?

Re: Property Promotion Limit

As far as I know there's no workaround to this limit.

If you create a second form library, then you have two versions of the form: one with fields 1-25 promoted and another with fields 26-50 promoted. You'll have to keep the version numbers manually in sync in both libraries. Also, your form will need to be modified so that it submits to both locations (for new forms and for edits/overwrites).

If this method works, it's not a long term solution because when you reach thousands of forms, those pages (each with 25 columns) is going to start hitting performance issues in the browser.

It sounds like you may be better off submitting to a SQL database and obtaining your Excel reports from there.

Property Promotion Limit

I have a large form library with lots of forms already submitted. My problem is I have hit the Property Promotion limit. For ease of explanation, lets say I have 50 fields, but only 1-25 can be promoted due to the limit.

Two Questions:
1) How can I get the data that has been submitted to fields 25-50? My first idea was to create a similar library with the same form, but promote fields 25-50 here instead. Then using explorer, copy over all the existing forms and open them to get the data. I need to export it to excel for analysis.

2) Moving forward, how can I get around this Promotion limit so that I do not have to keep repeating the solution from question 1?
