After mapping the lists, you just create an Excel spreadsheet that pulls the values into it so you can do your pivoting. The CAML technique is somewhat complex. A simpler tool is Qdabra's qRules which easily handles mapping to multiple lists without complex CAML files. There's a free trial download and the single developer license (works with all templates) comes with support.

In addition to the InfoPathDB Web service, I recommend looking at Qdabra's DBXL Web service. It will do much more than InfoPathDB and the beginner license ($595) comes with support.

Let us know if you'd like to see a demo of either qRules or DBXL.

Best regards,

Patrick

InfoPath Reporting

Hi all,
Is there a possible way for Excel Services, SSRS or any report tool (even excel workbook) to aggregate all the InfoPath XMLs from a form library and import into reporting tool. This would also import the repeatable tables in a separate row. I know InfoPath DB seems like a viable solution but not sure how it works. (http://infopathdb.codeplex.com/)

Overall, we have multiple XMLs in a form library which will be frequently updated. We want the ability to aggregate that data and do analysis in Excel through PivotTables. Ideally, I would like to create a data connection within Excel to an aggregate XML file, which would allow me to perform the analysis.
