I'm really new to building infopath 2010 applications for sharepoint 2010 and I ran into a requirement that I cant figure out.

We created a BCS connection and populated an EC list with the results of a SQL querry. I'm trying to build a basic infopath 2010 form that will filter this list based on the date range. I went into infopath, created a blank form, created a data connection to the list, and added the secondary data as a repeating table. I then added two Infopath date picker boxes to act as a date range filter for the list....but I cant get it to return any results. I found this tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srOtV6ace-4 and added the formating rule but it still doesnt work. Is there an extra step I missed because I'm using an ECT ?
