However I have a new issue, I am including &quot;Other&quot; fields for each drop-down menu so users can enter info if it doesn&#39;t appear in the list. I need these entries to appear in the same column as the drop-down menu. I thought I could do this by mapping the &quot;Other&quot; fields to the same Sharepoint list column in the Infopath to Sharepoint List Tool. But when I tried this I get no values at all, neither from the drop-down or the Other field. Is it possible to have to 2 separate fields post data to the same Sharepoint Column? (I think I will post this as a separate question.)

Re: Multiple repeating tables into one Sharepoint List

Sadly, neither InfoPath 2010 or 2013 have the native ability to submit data to a SharePoint list - unless the form itself is a SharePoint list form - which would then submit data to only a single list. Sounds like you need to submit to multiple lists.

Re: Multiple repeating tables into one Sharepoint List

Thanks I am trying out qRules now. I also just got an upgrade to Infopath 2010, which seems to play much nicer with SP lists and repeating tables. Will qRules still be needed if I have Infopath 2010?

Re: Multiple repeating tables into one Sharepoint List

<p>qRules does multiple repeating tables. We don&#39;t tend to support S.Y.M. Wongaton&#39;s site since there are numerous issues with the approaches she takes - in general, we don&#39;t recommend adding specific code to your forms since it will cost you more to maintain them.</p><p>That&#39;s why we recommend qRules. It&#39;s xpath agnostic which means you can add it to all of your forms. It comes with personal assistance from Qdabra and all proceeds go to supporting this site. </p>

Multiple repeating tables into one Sharepoint List

I am using the custom coding solution to send repeating table data into a Sharepoint list. I can get it to work for a single repeating table, but I am composing a form with several different repeating sections and I&#39;d like them all to submit to the same SP list. I am not much of a coder, does anyone know how to add additional repeating groups into the code?

Code I&#39;m using is from this tutorial:
http://www.bizsupportonline.net/infopath2007/how-to-submit-items-rows-repeating-table-infopath-sharepoint-list.htm

Is it possible to basically copy the relevant section of code and change it to point to additional repeating groups?
