After the new employee fills out the form, use the Alert feature in Sharepoint to notify the correct people.

Re: Newbie! how to integrate a simple infopath form into sharepoint!

Hi,

Perhaps this tutorial is what you need.

http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/mel_balsamo/archive/2009/05/19/using-e-mail-forms-to-communicate-with-external-users.aspx

Check it out and let us know if you have any questions. Once they submit the form I would like for a copy of it to be sent to my email and also stored on Sharepoint. Is all of this possible or is there a better way to go about it? If it is possible what are the steps I should take, I am completely new to infopath and sharepoint. I have figured out how to create the form though.
