Can Use Sharepoint Customize Form to Edit my new form in InfoPath, but Can't publish back.

I have a list in SP 2010. I have created a custom form in InfoPath 2010 using this list. In SP when I click on Custom Form on the ribbon, InfoPath 2010 opens up with my customized form. However, If back in SP I click on Add new item, my custom form is not displayed. InfoPath, with my custom form up, I click on QuickPublish and I get the message that the form was successfully published to my SP site, but I can't find it. I know I am missing some link between the two applications, but can't figure out what it is. Several videos I have seen show where a user simply (and I stress simply) creates a new list, clicks on Customize Form, makes some changes in InfoPath to the form and publishes back and WA LA.....
