You can accomplish what you need to do in InfoPath with code. With custom code you can write a procuedure to copy the data from your form and create a new SharePoint list item on the other library.

If you don't want to write your own custom code you can use our qRules product to do this, we have already written the code to do this and you can just inject into your form and then use rules in InfoPath to call the code to push the data to the SharePoint list.

You can find more information about qRules here: http://www.qdabra.com/en/products/qRules.aspx

And you can see a demo video of the procedure here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXRLMTAA-2o

I've been trying to find the answer to this question, but so far haven't had much luck.

Here is the issue, we currenlty have an infopath form that when submitted is saved to a SharePoint library. There is another team, that currently uses a custom sharepoint list on another server. We just recently found out that for form in our document library that pertain to that team. They are manually opening the form, and coping the data they need into the fields in their SharePoint list.

We would like to stop the extra work for them, and I was wondering if it's possible if we could put a button on our form. When the button is pressed, it will automatically create a new record in their SharePoint list, and then take the data from the fields they need, and inserts it into the fields in their list?

Is something like this possible? Is there any way to automate the process of copy the data from the infopath forms into the SharePoint list fields?

Thanks,
