I relinked the forms and now the old completed forms are viewable, THANK YOU!

However I still cannot create new forms even after I republished them to the site from my new computer. I used backed up copies of the form as well and they still say that the security is insufficient and that it is requesting domain level security and is only granted restricted. The form needs domain level security as it checks the user name of the person opening the form, but all these machines are on the domain and these forms have worked before. Any insights?

EDIT: This may be of some value. It gives the URL that the file should be located at and the path starts with "file:///\\(sharepoint address)". Could this be the culprit?

Re: Completed forms inaccessable after saving template from a different computer

You just need to relink the forms. When you move the XSNs (the form templates) from your doc lib, they need to have their Publish URL updated. Easy to do by simply republishing to the new site. Then, the XML forms that were created for them need to be relinked. SharePoint provides a relink option. After you do those two things, you should be good to go.

Completed forms inaccessable after saving template from a different computer

I created several forms for use by my company using InfoPath 2003 and hosting them on a SharePoint 2007 site. Instead of connecting them as a content type or having particular form libraries for each form, they were saved to the Shared Documents folder and accessed by links. This system worked fine, until recently I was given a new computer. After I saved over the previous form template, any completed forms are suddenly inopenable. When they look for a the form template, they are told that the form has insuffiecient security and they get what appears to be the right file path, but will not open the template. They are asked if they would like to open the saved template on their machine, but I don't want that. I tried changing the security on the forms from domain to full trust and created a security certificate, but for some reason even after importing it on a clients machine when opening the form the "Always trust this security certificate" button is faded (I'm assuming because my security certificate is not in the trusted root or whatever).

What are my options here? The system just went live so there are only two completed forms thus far, if that opens up any options. Thank you.

EDIT: I believe I may have misdiagnosed the problem. The form uses a GetUserAccountByName query and thereby needs to have domain security access. However, when trying to open the form, it says that the form does not have the right security access. Could this be a domain issue?
