If you use SharePoint Designer you can figure this out. We also have some documents on data views that have the parameter.

Re: Changing SharePoint view using SharePoint designer...

Its not the view on the form.. it is the list view in SharePoint

Re: Changing SharePoint view using SharePoint designer...

Hi Stacey,

How are you switching the view? You can use InfoPath's open rules to do this and it doesn't require code or SharePoint Designer. Should be a piece of cake.

Simple stuff. Forms->Tools->Open and Save->Rules->....(add a rule with field condition an action that switches the view if the field for read-only is true) ...

Good luck!

Changing SharePoint view using SharePoint designer...

The reason I need to change the view is due to conditional formatting. (If private, hide this field). The problem is when I click on the form; it forces me to open using the InfoPath application. I want this form to only open in browser mode. How can I change this to ensure when opening form it is in browser mode only. Please note... I need this to work without any compiled code.I have searched everywhere for a solution.. If there is a solution posted and I missed it, please send me the link.. MOSS 2007, InfoPath 2007 & SharePoint Designer 2007
